Starting February 6th, 2006, the NRW-Forum Kultur und Wirtschaft in Duesseldorf will launch a major exhibition of the work of Vivienne Westwood, one of the most influential fashion designers of the last 30 years.
The exhibition has been brought together by the London Victoria & Albert museum and is the largest ever dedicated to a British designer. It will feature more than 150 designs, examining Westwoods career from the 1970s to the present day. Film and catwalk footage about the life and career of Westwood will be shown throughout.
The Vivienne Westwood Exhibition is one in a line of fashion exhibitions at the NRW-Forum Kultur und Wirtschaft including Alexander McQueen or Manolo Blahnik. It is made possible by generous sponsorings by NOKIA, Bentley, CPD the Duesseldorf Fashion Fair.
