Published in conjunction with the exhibition Damian Ortega: The Beetle Trilogy and Other Works at The Gallery at REDCAT and The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, November 4, 2005 January 15, 2006, this 200-page volume features a new short story by novelist Hari Kunzru, Damian Ortega interviewed by MOCA associate curator Alma Ruiz, and an essay by Gallery at REDCAT director & curator Eungie Joo. All texts are bilingual Spanish/English. The book includes documentation of the artists work over the past fifteen years as well as numerous installation views of his exhibition at REDCAT and MOCA. The Beetle Trilogy and Other Works is the first solo exhibition of Ortegas work on the West Coast of the United States. Design by Deborah Littlejohn and Santiago Piedrafita, Two in Minneapolis. Distributed in North America by D.A.P/Distributed Art Publishers.
