The Global Studios exhibition explores the theme of “refuge.” Architecture and urban planning cannot solve the crises themselves; however, they take on a crucial role in proactively shaping socio-political decisions by building an intimate relationship between mankind and its environment.
The curator: Sujeong Park and Heejun Sim, founder of Archiworkshop have worked in broad range of European offices, such as Renzo Piano Building Workshop in Paris, Herzog & de Meuron in Basel, Mecanoo in Delft, Oikos in Korea.

Exploring the boundaries between public and private, city and architecture, the exhibition features multiple works covering the principal urban infrastructures, local development projects, and the innovative policies that promote sustainable changes and regeneration of the city.
The curator: Choon Choi is an architect and associate professor of architecture at Seoul National University. He was a co-curator and artist for the Korean Pavilion at 2018 Venice Biennale, and participated in group exhibitions at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (Seoul 2016, Gwacheon 2019, 2017), Ilmin Museum (2013), and Art Sonje (2013).
Seoul exhibition: Atlas of the Future Cities – Seoul

By shedding new light on the issues currently facing Seoul on a broader communication platform, the exhibition hopes to give citizens the opportunity to envision the future of one of the world’s largest metropolises.
