The Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris is open.
The public is now able to visit the exhibitions Sarah Moon, PastPresent until July 4 and Hubert Duprat until June 27. The exhibition The Power Of My Hands—Africa(s): women artists opened to the public on May 19 and will close on August 22.
The museum’s permanent collection also reopened on May 19. After several months of restoration, visitors once more have access to Raoul Dufy’s La Fée Électricité, a work that has become emblematic of the Musée d’Art Moderne. A remarkable donation of 6 works by Georg Baselitz and a further 22 by the self-taught artist Henry Darger are also on display in the permanent collection rooms. An additional event is a tribute exhibition to curator Pierre Gaudibert, who founded the ARC in 1967.
Reservation of a time-stamped ticket for access to the exhibitions is compulsory: Sarah Moon, PastPresent / Hubert Duprat / The Power Of My Hands: Africa(s): women artists. For any further information, please check out our website.
