Spring Undergraduate Exhibition
SAIC students completing undergraduate degrees exhibit their innovative work. SAIC promotes crossing disciplines and challenging assumptions, and the results of this approach are showcased in this exhibition, which can be viewed both in person and online.

IMPACT Performance Festival
Coordinated by SAIC’s Performance department and Department of Exhibitions and Exhibition Studies, this virtual thesis event is designed to support graduating students creating live-art and performance.

The Department of Visual and Critical Studies presents a virtual symposium featuring Master of Art in Visual and Critical Studies candidates.

Graduate Exhibition
The 2021 Graduate Exhibition is the culminating presentation of Master of Fine Arts, Master of Design, and Master of Architecture candidates and an opportunity to present new and ambitious work to the public.

Art History Master of Arts Symposium
This two-day virtual symposium will present Master of Arts thesis projects in art history, featuring a range of topics in modern and contemporary art history. Art History, Theory, and Criticism faculty will respond and discuss the presented papers.
May 5–8
Visual and Critical Studies Undergraduate Thesis Symposium
Graduating students in the Visual and Critical Studies undergraduate degree programs share their thesis work online and participate in live panel discussions on May 8. A virtual reception will follow the panel discussions.

Artbash 2021
Artbash is the Department of Contemporary Practices’s major end-of-year exhibition of student work developed out of interdisciplinary studio courses in the department. Exhibition and events will take place on campus and online at artbash.party, in addition to CPTV, an online community event to celebrate, share, and create together.

FASHION 2021
This virtual celebration of work across SAIC’s fashion curriculumn showcases our sophomore, junior, senior, and post-baccalaureate achievements and features the premiere screening of a fashion movie developed and produced by the Fashion department’s senior fashion cohort.

Film, Video, New Media, Animation, and Sound Festival
This virtual festival features the work of graduate and undergraduate students from the class of 2021. Tune in for free and view at any time during the seven-day run.

Art History Senior Thesis Symposium
This virtual symposium presents the art history thesis projects of graduating BA and BFA students. Featuring a wide range of topics that critically explore what modern and contemporary art history can do in the present day, the symposium will feature student dialogues with faculty from SAIC’s Art History, Theory, and Criticism department.
