Online and offline courses available June to October, 2021.
This year the Berlin Summer University of the Arts offers a large mixture of creative online and face-to-face courses. Between June and October 2021, the Berlin University of the Arts presents the international workshop programme that addresses artists, advanced students and graduates from all artistic disciplines. Altogether, over 29 top-class workshops in the fields of Fine Arts, Design, Music, Performing Arts and interdisciplinary areas invite participants for an international, artistic exchange. Challenge your perception, transitional and communicational skills, explore artistic perspectives and creatively express yourself in workshops across a wide range of disciplines. An international team of lecturers and teachers will introduce you to methods and discourses of contemporary art in a diverse and experimental way.
Our newest additions include online-courses in different creative fields—Low Tech Animation (Low Tech Animation Workshop), Copy Writing (Writing = Design) and Aesthetic Transformation (Aesthetic Transformations: Inspiration Across Disciplinary Borders).
For those interested in interdisciplinary courses, workshops considering philosophical questions such as The We That is Not I: Communities as Operative Fictions, Situationist City Game or Dialogues as Artistic Experimental Systems in the Cultural Sciences might be the right choice.
Passionate teachers will guide you through the process of developing your artistic voice and visual language, to realize your ideas and share them with like-minded people by building a network that might be relevant for your future projects.
Explore your interests and dive into a wide range of creativity at one of the biggest and most multifaceted universities of the arts in Europe. The whole programme is available here.
