The soft launch of He Art Museum (HEM) is scheduled to start from October 1, 2020, presenting its launch exhibition, From the Mundane World.
Designed by Pritzker Prize laureate Tadao Ando, the museum will be home to the family’s art collection. The latter consists of more than 500 works ranging from painting, calligraphy, photography, to sculpture, and mainly falls into three catalogues: International Contemporary Art, Chinese Modern Art and Chinese Contemporary Art.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, From the Mundane World: Inaugural Exhibition of He Art Museum, originally scheduled to start from March of 2020, has been adjusted into two phases, including a launch exhibition and a grand exhibition. Part of the works by overseas artists in the original plan will be presented afterward. For other opening programmes, they will be rescheduled according to public health status in the future.
The museum will follow the guideline on regular COVID-19 prevention issued by State Council, to ensure the safety of visitors. More details as followings:

Tuesday-Sunday 10am-6pm (last entry at 5:30pm)
Closed on Mondays (postponed to next working day should the Monday is national public holiday)
*10am-3pm (last entry at 2:30pm) on October 1, 2020
*Free admission on the 20th of every month (postponed to the next day should the 20th is a non-opening day)
