Harvard GSD has organized a series of virtual public lectures and conferences for the Fall 2020 semester, inviting designers and other curious viewers from around the world to join the school’s dialogue. This fall’s program offers topical observations—among them, a symposium on equitable development in Washington, D.C., Detroit, and Boston (September 25), and a lecture from Michael Maltzan on addressing homelessness (October 13)—and a roster of noteworthy artists, activists, and other thought leaders, including chef and restaurateur Marcus Samuelsson (October 15), writer, activist, and political candidate Nikil Saval (October 29), and the Black Reconstruction Collective (November 17).
All programs will take place virtually, are free and open to the public, will be live captioned, and require registration, and all times are listed in United States Eastern Standard/Eastern Daylight Time. Please visit the GSD’s events calendar for more information, including registration details.
The full public program appears below and can be viewed on the GSD’s events calendar. Please visit the GSD’s home page to sign up to receive periodic emails about the School’s public programs, exhibitions, and other news.
Anyone requiring accessibility accommodations should contact the Public Programs Office at events@gsd.harvard.edu.
