Announcing this year’s winning projects

As a research and exhibition project, Critical Zones investigates the urgency to bring together skills, knowledge, disciplines, and cultures in order to jointly create a cartography of multiple earths. Over a five-month period, the exhibition simulates on a small-scale the model of a new spatial configuration for the earth and the diversity of life forms living here. The exhibition generates a landscape that allows public audiences to grasp the characteristics of the so-called “New Climate Regime,” a term coined by Bruno Latour describing the situation affecting all living beings worldwide.
