ACC (Asia Culture Center) is a research and creation platform to promote the exchange of creative works and interdisciplinary research through ideas expanded from the culture and arts of Asia and the world. ACC invites researchers and creators (performing artists, art & technology artists, designers, scholars) across the world to participate in the ACC_R Residency programs in 2020.
ACC_R Fellow 2020
ACC_R Fellow will contribute to humanistic discourse and expand cultural horizons, it is a program which seeks to support researchers who have developed original research themes on the subject of Asia. The program will run for three to six months from May to October 2020, depending on the duration stipulated on the participants’ application. We are looking forward to receiving applications from passionate, dedicated researchers who would like to join in our sincere effort to look at Asia in a new way and promote cultural diversity.
ACC_R Theater 2020
ACC_R Theater is a platform of Asia Culture Center to discover experimental and original works of performing arts and support its production and performance systemically. The main theme of ACC_R Theater in 2020 will be Biophilia, peace in Asia, and human rights, and projects with potential will be made into the ACC Theater Repertory in 2021. We invite creators and artists of performing arts who have fresh and experimental ideas for contemporary discourse in Asia.
ACC_R Creators 2020
ACC_R Creators is a platform where creators can develop and practice futuristic ideas based on art and technology. ACC_R Creators 2020 invites participants who will create artworks that bring creativity and technology together on the theme of Biophilia.
ACC_R Dialogue 2020
ACC_R Dialogue is a residency program to foster collective intelligence through diverse perspectives and insight about social discourse with experts in various fields of philosophy, sociology, and science and seek positive change and endeavor in our societies by sharing the results with the public. We invite researchers and experts with high potential to join our ACC_R Dialogue program that enables interdisciplinary studies on culture and arts involving humanities, sociology, and natural science.
ACC_R Design 2020
ACC_R Design residency program aim to develop design content and product tailored for ACC. We invite designers who desire to create ACC design content by interpreting Asia in the modern context based on Biophilia through interdisciplinary exchange.
