Homesharing has a social potential much greater than simple commercial subletting.
This was the idea that initially launched Human Hotel, a social sculpture project that hosted more than 3,000 climate activists with local visionaries during the UN COP15 Climate Summit in Copenhagen (2009).
After a decade of homesharing experiments for museums and cultural institutions, Human Hotel is now open for traveling creators and changemakers everywhere.

Known for their pactice of direct collectivism, Wooloo is now partnering with Moscow’s Garage Museum of Contemporary Art to develop an avant-garde matching algorithm fostering new human meetings and forms of collaboration.
Supported by Garage’s program of Field Research and the Danish Arts Foundation, the Wooloo algorithm will in its final form be fusing diverse learnings (and unlearnings) from the past 100 years of social art experiments with new advancements in AI and machine learning, empowering digital human matchmaking to explore real-life scenarios for our collective future.
As part of their ongoing community work, Wooloo recently opened Human Hotel in Moscow—participating in the exhibition The Coming World: Ecology as the New Politics 2030–2100, currently on show at Garage.
Human Hotel is also involved in the mobilization for the alternative COP25 summit in Santiago, Chile, building a local host community to support out-of-town activists and indigenous leaders during the UN summit.
