Rutgers in New York 2019: Like a Day
Featuring the MFA graduating class in Visual Arts

Established in 1962 as the first non-disciplinary specific fine art graduate program in the USA, Rutgers’ MFA in Visual Arts continues to promote that freedom today.

Kara Walker presents: The Colossus of Rutgers

As the culmination of her four-year tenure as Tepper Chair in Visual Arts at Rutgers, Kara Walker presents an exhibition of work by MFA students and recent alums who have taken part in Walker’s investigation of Memory, Memorials and Monuments—a journey that has taken the research group to Atlanta, New Orleans, and sites around their home base in New Jersey.
