The BSc Digital Arts Computing at Goldsmiths is currently welcoming applications for entry in September 2019.

The Digital Arts Computing programme is uniquely taught between the Computing and the Art Departments at Goldsmiths. In the BSc, students develop artistic work in conversation with critical studies. Through a series of projects for public exhibition students explore the materialities of creative computing, preparing them to transform and lead the field of digital art.

This three year undergraduate programme is aimed at students working at the intersection of art and technology who wish to develop their practice and professional networks with the support of Goldsmiths outstanding academic staff, facilities, industry partners and location.

The programme is led by critical art practitioners Dr. Helen Pritchard and Dr. Audrey Samson. Recent contributing academic staff have included: Atau Tanaka, Rebecca Fiebrink, Phoenix Perry, April Grow, Simon Katan, Theo Papatheodorou, Jane Prophet, Matthew Yee-King, Michael Zbyszyński, Saskia Freeke, Sylvia Xueni Pan, Edgar Schmitz, Matthew Fuller, Verina Gfader, and guest lectures and speakers Becky Stewart, Blanca Regina, Joanne Armitage, Suhail Malik, FRAUD, Keiken, Memo Akten, Kyle McDonald, Patrick Tresset, and more. The Contemporary Art Talks series organised by the Art Department has invited Lydia Ourahmane, Vicki Bennett, Evan Ifekoya, Rehana Zaman, James N. Kienitz Wilkins, Marguerite Humeau, Sophia Al-Maria, and more.

Listen to one of our students discuss last year’s exhibition, and hear from our current students.
