The Hallie Ford School of Graduate Studies at Pacific Northwest College of Art is proud to present the 2019 MFA Thesis/Capstone Exhibition featuring work by 26 graduates from the MFA in Collaborative Design, MFA in Print Media, and MFA in Visual Studies programs, three of the eight graduate programs in the school. Exemplifying the multidisciplinary nature of these programs, the exhibition will include research-based works, sculpture, video, painting, print, and more. The exhibition opens May 26, 2019 with a reception from 6–7:30pm and runs through June 11, 2019.
New this year, the exhibition is in the college’s new Glass Building (2139 N Kerby), an expansive, warehouse-like space with the feeling of an industrial cathedral with hundreds of panes of art glass interspersed in its massive windows. Following its turn as an exhibition space, the Glass Building this fall becomes home to PNCA’s graduate studios and 3D shops (wood, ceramics, metals, glass) as well as a new street-level gallery for student exhibitions.

Low-Residency MFA in Visual Studies
MFA/artist residency hybrid with internationally recognized visiting faculty.
