Arthub’s official website new features
At Arthub we are glad to announce our website’s new features!
“Podcast” is our new regular project teamed up with Usmaradio, a radio platform of St. Marino University. Arthub is committed to share interviews with artists, art talks and special projects with an Asian perspective.
Our first episode is a talk between artist Tao Hui and writer Alvin Li, in the occasion of the screening The Excessive, a film by Tao Hui. The upcoming podcasts will include Cheng Ran, Ellen Zweig, Birdhead and Zhang Enli.
“New Roads” is the conclusion of a 4 years project that saw Arthub curating contemporary art projects in Aurora Museum, Shanghai. The outcome of this complex curatorial project is a website, both accessible on Arthub’s and Aurora Museum’s website. “New Roads” was the first long-term contemporary intervention within an institution displaying ancient art in China. Davide Quadrio produced multiple exhibitions and projects featuring both local and international artists (Qiu Zhijie, Francesco Vezzoli, Yin Xiuzhen, Liu Shiyuan, Li Mu, Yang Fudong, N+N Corsino, Liu Jianhua, Kan Xuan, Li Shurui, Zhang Enli, Christopher Doyle, Michael Lin) and involving international institutions such as Van Abbemuseum (Eindhoven) and Querini Stampalia Foundation (Venice) among others.
