Kosovo Architecture Festival continues its September cycle of events with a series of lectures, screenings and a workshop starting from the September 12.
After a one month break from the first cycle of events at the Kosovo Architecture Festival that featured lectures by Liam Young (Sci-Arc), Antoine Wilmering (Getty Foundation), Ivan Kucina (Dessau IAS), Ivan Blasi (Mies Foundation), Ethel Baraona Pohl & Cesar Reyes Najera (DPR Barcelona), Ibay Rigby (UrbanNext), Charlotte Malterre-Barthes (ETH), Eliza Hoxha (Kosovo Pavilion), Babau Bureau, Nils Fischer (Zaha Hadid Architects), six workshops by Future Architecture creatives, screenings on Francis Kere work and the Mies Pavilion, as well as a book salon featuring publications by DPR Barcelona, Mies Foundation, Actar, UrbanNext and Getty Foundation. The Kosovo Architecture Festival will start its second cycle of events on the September 12.
The September lecture series that will feature keynotes by the Albanian Pavilion curatorial team at the Venice Biennale, FA creative Francisco Fonseca from Skrei, as well as David Basulto the founder and CEO of Archdaily, will be held at the Kosovo National Library starting from 7pm, September 12.
The movie series will continue with the screening of Gran Horizonte - around the day in 80 worlds by Daniel Schwartz & Martin Anderson, and Where the city cant see by Liam Young.
The annual Kosovo Architecture Festival is jointly organized by the Kosovo Architecture Foundation and the biggest pan-European architecture & design platform the Future Architecture Platform.
