At our five-year anniversary mark, we are very pleased to announce the rest of our 2018 seminar lineup, as well as other developments at The New Centre for Research & Practice.
We have officially moved to Seattle, Washington, USA, where we have begun working with Shunpike, an arts-oriented, non-profit fiscal sponsor, enabling us to receive 100% tax-deductible donations for the first time. To make a donation, please visit our Shunpike page. Your generosity will enable us to offer scholarships to our Certificate Students. We are also in the process of registering as a non-profit educational institution in the European Union to mirror our US activities in Europe.

The New Centre now offers a new public services section in our website, showcasing the first session of nearly every seminar we’ve offered since our beginning, as well as the video archives of our public live-streamed events, roundtables, and reading groups.
Beyond individual Memberships and Friendships, we are also offering Institutional Memberships, such as that recently acquired by the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. To find out more about Institutional Memberships, please contact registrar [at] thenewcentre.org.
The New Centre’s one-on-one theoretical and practical consultations with our instructors have been widely successful over the course of the past year, and we will continue to expand the offerings in this regard on either a mentoring or tutoring basis. For more information, please visit our website.
Finally, this year, The New Centre has been invited to partner with the Digital Earth, a new online platform for artists’ residencies from Asia and Africa based in the Netherlands, designing seminars for those who are selected to participate in the inaugural edition of the program. For more information, please visit the Digital Earth website.
The year 2018 has seen a continued upsurge of interest in our Certificate Programs and Seminars with many new Members, Researchers, and Certificate Students joining the institution.
