Eleven of the most prestigious galleries in Manhattan’s Upper East Side will host an Upper East Side Gallery Stroll on Thursday, October 11 from 6 until 9 pm. Extending their usual hours, these galleries are inviting the public to spend a lovely Autumn evening strolling along Madison Avenue and its side streets between 68th and 80th, viewing a diverse and extraordinary selection of artworks.
Paintings, drawings, sculptures and prints, ranging from the 19th to 21st centuries, will be in the featured exhibitions. Long-time Upper East Side galleries such as Leo Castelli Gallery, Cook Fine Art, Anita Friedman Fine Arts, Gagosian Gallery, Knoedler & Company, Jan Krugier Gallery, Craig Starr Fine Art, and Winston Wächter Fine Art are collaborating with new or more recent arrivals to the area, including Leslie Feely Fine Art, Jeannie Freilich Fine Art and Gemini G.E.L. at Joni Moisant Weyl.
