Art Basel Miami Beach 2009
Michael Kohn Gallery is pleased to announce this year’s participation at Art Basel Miami Beach. Michael Kohn Gallery will be showing work from such pivotal historical artists as WALLACE BERMAN, BRUCE CONNER, JEAN CONNER, and JOHN MCLAUGHLIN, along with new artwork from MARK RYDEN and the contemporary artistic duo SIMMONS & BURKE, who have manipulated and expanded the medium to include sound collage. BRUCE CONNER will also be represented in Art Kabinett by a selection of large-scale INKBLOT DRAWINGS created under his many pseudonyms. In addition, Michael Kohn Gallery will be showing new work by DAVID KORTY (who has an upcoming show at Michael Kohn Gallery in January 2010), DENNIS HOLLINGSWORTH and CRISTOF YVORE.
In a private showroom within the booth will be a selection of rare artworks by ANDY WARHOL, JEFF KOONS and MARK TANSEY among others.
