At FIAC Francesca Minini will present works by Ghada Amer, Matthias Bitzer, Jan De Cock and Simon Dybbroe Møller.
The big installation Courtain for Louisiana (No More Moore) by Simon Dybbroe Møller leads us to the booth space discovering Ghada Amer embroidery, part of a special project the artist created for the gallery in 2007 comparing Middle Eastern and Western culture.
The painting of Matthias Bitzer through portrait and abstract patterns brings us in the world of Fernando Pessoa. His exhibition on the Portoguese writer will be on show at Francesca Minini gallery in Milan until 6 November 2010.
Jan De Cock sculptures guide us through the visit of a contemporary Pompeii.
The classicality and the acknowledgement of the roots of Italian architecture are fused with a modern and innovative vision of it.
