The speed on contemporary art and its multiple forms and time leads to the development of new ideas on how to understand what is a contemporary art collection. The figure of the collector is adapted to the rhythms of artists, works, possibilities and at the same time, shows lines of work, intentions and desires.
A collection is a series of writing stories, perspectives and questions, define approaches to places and moments. In a world defined by the visual culture, art collections become portraits of the moment, starting points for possible futures.

espacio trapézio host an activity of The Rich Collection, a collection of contemporary art that includes works by stablished artists like Jonathan Meese, Raymond Pettibon, Nathalie Djurberg, and emerging ones like Momu & Noes, Cristina Llanos or Abdul Vas.
With the aim to showcase the work and ideas found in a collection, espacio trapézio opens up its programming to a presentation and discussion of the hand of The Rich Collection.
