The Tram contemporary art network, an association of art spaces across the Ile-de-France region, has begun the countdown to the start of Hospitalités, a unique three-month long programme of exhibitions, performances, debates and talks that will be held from 24 September 2011 to 10 December 2011.

Hospitalités, organized by 31 art spaces, will comprise 12 journeys in Paris and the wider Ile-de-France region. Each Saturday, two to three of the art spaces will come together to propose a shared artistic programme. The journeys, punctuated with artistic happenings, performances and curatorial talks and debates, are a key part of the cultural programme.

Hospitalités will highlight issues related to cultural diversity. The programme will focus on questions related to the French overseas collectivities, international migration, travel, architecture and structural design in the suburbs.

24 September: Circulation explores questions of identity and displacement. Jan Kopp (German), Agnès Caffier (French), Sadek Rahim (Algerian), are exhibited at Abbaye de Maubuisson, and Andrée Philippot-Mathieu (French), is presented at Galerie Municipale Jean-Collet.
