The inaugural issue of Big Red & Shiny‘s journal is now online. This edition of the monthly publication is comprised of essays by Aaron Willette and Rob Trumbour, Lola Arellano-Weddleton, Brian Sirman, and Ben Street; reviews by Stephen Kobasa and Mike Pepi; and an interview with Luther Price by Tara Nelson.

Big Red & Shiny, Inc. is a Boston-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded in 2004. Its new journal publishes essays from internationally based writers on the reception, theory, and history of contemporary art. After a two-year hiatus, the publication last month relaunched with its blogazine Our Daily Red.
