BAM, in collaboration with Paddle8, is proud to announce its Ninth Annual BAMart Silent Auction, this year at The Hole gallery in Manhattan, featuring works from internationally renowned and emerging artists. Co-chaired by Cindy Sherman, Beth Rudin DeWoody and Kathy Grayson, this 11-day event begins April 17 at www.BAM.org/auction and will be on view at the gallery Tuesday–Sunday April 23–28, 12–7pm. Proceeds from the auction benefit BAM and its programs.
This year, a portion of the proceeds will go to NYFA’s Emergency Relief Fund, which assists artists with damages and losses as a result of Hurricane Sandy. The Andy Warhol Foundation, Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, and Lambent Foundation (a project of the Tides Center) established the Emergency Relief Fund, which is administered by NYFA.
This highly anticipated annual art event underscores BAMart’s commitment to the growing community of visual artists based in Brooklyn while also cultivating the next generation of BAM supporters.
