Paris Photo Los Angeles, the inaugural United States edition of the renowned Paris fair, announces a robust book-signing program and screenings series. Paris Photo Los Angeles will be held at Paramount Pictures Studios, April 26–28, 2013. Book signings program

Paris Photo Los Angeles will also feature screenings of works created using the moving image. The addition of the moving image to Paris Photo Los Angeles allows for the exploration of a variety of artistic approaches thus expanding on the conceptual understanding of the photograph. A series of films and videos will showcase young practitioners in the field and focus on fallen masters of experimental cinema. The Screenings are part of the “Sound and Vision” Public Program, and are curated by Douglas Fogle.

In addition, over seventy international exhibitors have committed to participate in Paris Photo Los Angeles. Of the over sixty participating galleries, many are exhibiting solo artist shows featuring work by artists such as David Armstrong, Jessica Backhaus, Carolle Benitah, Matthew Brandt, Adam Broomberg & Oliver Chanarin, Elina Brotherus, Filip Dujardin, Kota Ezawa, Tierney Gearon, Ori Gersht, Johan Grimonprez, Fred Herzog, Anthony Lepore, Sally Mann, Hiroyuki Masuyama, Ryan McGinness, Jonas Mekas, Gábor Osz, Man Ray, Martina Sauter, and Alex Webb.
