A strong view towards the East, 127 galleries from all over Europe and beyond and an elaborate program of side events, talks, artistic interactions and themed exhibitions will leave nobody indifferent.

This year VIENNAFAIR The New Contemporary is once again greatly pleased to be able to develop exciting special presentations with its long-standing partners. OMV has expanded its focus this year from Turkey to Romania and the young art scene in the Caspian region; in support of young Austrian art, BM:UKK is helping to bring greater international attention to the lively domestic art scene; Erste Bank continues to provide a platform for galleries from Eastern and Southeastern Europe to expand to the West.
Christina Steinbrecher-Pfandt and Vita Zaman, artistic directors of VIENNAFAIR The New Contemporary, have developed an innovative and experimental series of side projects, big and small, ambitious and shy, provocative and poetic.
