The 2013 Paris Photo Platform is co-curated by Nicolas Bourriaud, director of École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris, and Chantal Pontbriand, curator and art critic, founder of Pontbriand W.O.R.K.S. [We_Myself and others_ Research_Knowledge_Systems].
In a series of twelve conversations and discussions with outstanding artists, curators and critics, the Platform is organized around three lines corresponding to the state of thinking and practices that provoke debate in the world of art and photography today:
Photography challenged by the world
Encyclopedic fantasy
Photography, painting, limits?
Plus, Paris Photo has commissioned Rubedo, the edgy London collective focused on advanced sound and image electronics, to present a new work highlighting the 2013 edition.
