Following its success last November, Abu Dhabi Art continues to redefine the notion of an art fair through its programme, with the sixth edition taking place from 5 to 8 November 2014.
This year’s Abu Dhabi Art will present exciting unique programme of art, talks and performances that brings together the world’s top galleries, artists, notable cultural icons, collectors and visitors from across the globe.
The sixth edition will again present two new elements launched last year: the Artists’ Waves section of the fair showcasing works by artists selected by a curator rather than galleries, as well as Durub Al Tawaya, a performing arts programme that takes Abu Dhabi Art beyond Saadiyat Island and into the city.
Abu Dhabi Art is held in the Saadiyat Cultural District, future home to the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Zayed National Museum and the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi.
The event firmly establishes Saadiyat Island and Abu Dhabi’s legacy as the cultural destination of the future through ongoing curated programming and visitors from around the world. Abu Dhabi Art is organised by the Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority.
