For over fifty years the University of California, Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive (BAM/PFA) has been proud to exhibit and collect the work of emerging and established artists and filmmakers. The 2014 BAM/PFA Benefit Auction honors the institution’s past, while celebrating its future as it prepares to move to a new location in downtown Berkeley in early 2016.
The auction features sixty works by artists from the BAM/PFA community—artists represented in the permanent collection, those featured in BAM/PFA solo shows and group exhibitions, as well as emerging artists selected by its curators. Proceeds from the auction benefit BAM/PFA’s world-class educational programs.
The online auction, hosted by Paddle 8, includes works by Zarouhie Abdalian, Douglas Ashford, Richard Barnes, Robert Barry, Taha Belal, Joe Bender, Andrea Bowers, Slater Bradley, Mike Brodie, Christopher Brown, Todd Bura, Jim Campbell, Squeak Carnwath, Ajit Chauhan, James Chronister, Travis Collinson, Bruce Conner, N.
