The 41st edition of FIAC will be held from October 23 to 26 2014 at the Grand Palais in Paris.
The fair will present some 185 galleries from 26 countries specializing in modern and contemporary art together with emerging tendencies.

FIAC and the Galeries Lafayette group are proud to announce the sixth consecutive edition of the Lafayette Sector, an ongoing programme launched in 2009 in the context of FIAC’s partnership with the Galeries Lafayette group, Official Sponsor of FIAC.
This programme underlines the joint desire of FIAC and the Galeries Lafayette group to provide tangible support to the actors of the emerging art scene in its international dimension. The Lafayette Sector provides financial support to 10 French and international galleries presenting emerging artists. The 2014 jury was formed by Guillaume Houzé (Director of Patronage of the Galeries Lafayette group), Florence Bonnefous (Air de Paris, Paris), Francesco Stocchi (Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Rotterdam) and Scott Cameron Weaver (Curator KUB Arena, Kunsthaus Bregenz).

FIAC 2014 reinforces the development of its renowned off-site exhibitions programme, Hors les Murs. In association with the Domaine National du Louvre et des Tuileries, an ensemble of outdoor works will be presented in the Tuileries Garden. In addition to this programme, an exhibition focusing on themes such as nature, biodiversity and the environment will be held in the Jardin des Plantes and in the diverse range of indoor and outdoor sites in the Museum National d’Histoire Naturelle. Following the success of the 2013 edition, in collaboration with the Comité Vendôme and its members, the prestigious Place Vendôme will house monumental outdoor projects. FIAC is proud to renew its collaboration with the city of Paris on the banks of the Seine, thereby underlining its installation in prestigious venues situated along the river.
Ouvertures/ Openings, a programme of performances will be presented in collaboration with the Auditorium of the Louvre Museum, with Jerome Bel, Simone Forti & Charlemagne Palestine and Joan Jonas. In Process, the programme of performances dedicated to the emerging contemporary scene will be held over six days in the Grand Palais and its associated sites.
Artists’ films will be presented in the auditorium of the Grand Palais and in collaboration with the Fondation d’entreprise Ricard for the Cinéphémère.
FIAC week will be marked by a wealth of artistic and cultural events organised by galleries, museums, institutions, collectors and patrons of the arts.
