Art15 London, the third edition of London’s global art fair, takes place from 21 to 23 May 2015 (preview on 20 May), and is once again sponsored by Citi Private Bank. Following the resounding success of the 2014 fair, which was attended by 31,000 visitors and 6,000 VIPs, Art15 London moves to new dates in May at the beginning of London’s summer season. Art14 London was praised for its groundbreaking international outlook—approximately half the exhibiting artists hailed from outside the west and were shown alongside their western peers in a way previously unseen at art fairs.

Collectors, critics and curators hailed the fair’s new, original and fresh view of modern and contemporary art, particularly its global scope. Reactions confirmed the success of the fair: “Art14 London is firing on all cylinders” (The Daily Telegraph); “The fair is a breath of fresh air…” (The Art Newspaper); and “Art14 London cements its place on the international art fair calendar” (Wallpaper).

The fair reflects London’s status as a world city with a population originating from all corners of the world. International collectors at Art14 London included Don and Mera Rubell, Dr Oei Hong Djien, Ramin Salsali, Uli Sigg, Charles Saatchi, Anita Zabludowicz, and Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, amongst others from the US, China, Indonesia, the Middle East, India and Europe.

Art15 London continues to build on this unique global platform across the main gallery section and remains strongly committed to younger galleries in the curated London First and Emerge sections. A focus on post-war modern art from across the world, talks, projects, performances and a film programme will underline the discourse about the current global art world.

Galleries are now invited to apply for Art15 London. Both contemporary and modern galleries are welcome to apply to the fair. In order to reflect the changing nature of the art world, the fair continues to accept exhibitors from non-traditional commercial spaces such as pop-up lead projects. Art15 London welcomes all modern and contemporary media, with a focus on photography and prints and editions in addition to all other art forms.

Alongside the main section, there are two curated sections for younger galleries. London First features galleries under five years old that have never previously participated at an art fair in London. Emerge focuses on emerging talents from art scenes around the world that are presented by galleries who are seven years and under. Both sections boast internationally renowned curatorial advisors, details of which will be announced shortly. Accepted galleries may subsequently apply for participation in Art15 Projects and Art15 Performance.

Art15 London offers a unique opportunity at the heart of the worlds global art market.
