With over 40,000 visitors at the 2014 edition, miart consolidates its position as a point of reference capable of bringing to Milan, every spring, national and international collectors, curators and art lovers from all over the world.
In particular, for the 2015 edition, the close scheduling with respect to the Salone del Mobile / Design Week—which opens on the day after the miart finissage—will generate greater participation on the part of Italian and European institutions of contemporary art and design, with a clear increase of collectors and curators from Europe, the United States and the Middle East. Thanks to miart and the Salone del Mobile, Milan will bring to the fore its DNA as a capital of contemporary creativity, offering a preview of what will be the long, variegated period of Expo 2015.
Miart art week thus confirms its status as a must for all sector professionals, also thanks to the support of the main cultural institutions of Milan, such as PAC – Padiglione d’Arte Contemporanea, Triennale di Milano, GAM – Villa Reale, HangarBicocca, which will present important exhibitions for the occasion.
For the 2015 edition the collaboration with Fondazione Nicola Trussardi also continues, through the organization for the third consecutive year of a special project for the evenings during the fair.
miart 2015 will offer an intense new cycle of miartalks: a platform for conferences, conversations and interviews curated by Maria Cristina Didero, Paola Nicolin and Alessandro Rabottini.
The VIP program coordinated by Damiana Leoni, will include events, previews and special openings of the main museums, art spaces and foundations in Milan, as well as visits to private collections.
Applications must be completed online by Monday 27 October 2014.
