miart 2015, organized by Fiera Milano, is pleased to announce more than 150 international galleries that will participate in the 20th edition of the fair, held from 10 to 12 April at Pavilion 3 of fieramilanocity.
With the 2015 edition, miart confirms its place on the circuit of the leading European contemporary art events. In its third year under the direction of Vincenzo de Bellis, the level of international exhibitors has increased to almost 50%, selected from the most outstanding exponents in this sector.
Here is the list of exhibitors of the four sections of the fair: Established (galleries of modern and contemporary art, the section is divided in two subcategory: Masters, curated by Donatella Volontè, and Contemporary), Emergent (19 young galleries selected by Andrew Bonacina, Chief Curator, The Hepworth Wakefield), THENnow (nine pairs of artists of different generations compared. Curated by Dan Byers, Senior Curator, The Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA), Boston; Giovanni Carmine, Director, Kunst Halle St Gallen, St Gallen; Ruba Katrib, curator, Sculpture Center, New York; Alexis Vaillant, curator, Bordeaux), and Object (devoted to modern and contemporary limited-edition design, curated by Federica Sala, Partner at PS Design Consultants, Milan; and Isabelle Valembras, design consultant, Milan & Paris).
