Contemporary Istanbul is pleased to announce that applications for its tenth anniversary edition are now open. The fair will take place from 12 to 15 November once again at the Istanbul Congress Centre (ICC) and the Istanbul Convention and Exhibition Centre (ICEC).
Contemporary Istanbul (CI) has been a key player in the development of contemporary art in Turkey and the surrounding regions. With 49 galleries and 37,000 visitors in 2006 swelling to 108 galleries, 80,000 visitors in 2014, CI both reflects the Istanbul art scene and the increasing interest of international galleries and collectors in the city and further afield.
With Istanbul as the capital city of art in Turkey, CI’s tenth edition will show new perspectives to increase the satisfaction of its participants. Contemporary Istanbul, with its market knowledge, expertise, and excellent connections, provides a platform to national and international established and emerging galleries, collectors, museums, curators and art lovers every November.
