Some 14 collections—About Change Collection, Boros Collection, Feuerle Collection, Haubrok Collection, Julia Stoschek Collection, Olbricht Collection, Salon Dahlmann, Wurlitzer Collection, the collections of Dr. Matthias Döpfner, Paul Maenz, Egidio Marzona, Alexander Schröder, Wilhelm and Gaby Schürmann, and Ivo Wessel—will be showing works by artists such as Giovanni Anselmo, Bernadette Corporation, Gino de Dominicis, Michael Elmgreen / Ingar Dragset, Claire Fontaine, Kasia Fudakowski, John Knight, Ana Mendieta, Manfred Pernice, Mandla Reuter, Nora Schultz, Heimo Zobernig and others. The exhibition conveys the distinct character of each collection, represented by selected works encompassing periods from the sixth century to the present day.

Talking Galleries
This year, for the first time, Talking Galleries and Berlin Art Week are collaborating to present two discussion panels specially devised to reflect and contrast international trends and the particular gallery landscape of Berlin. Held at abc as morning sessions with free entry, the program will appeal to both gallery professionals and art enthusiasts alike.

18 September, 11am: “The Added Value of Working Alongside a Gallery”
Discussion led by Chris Dercon.

19 September, 11am: “How to Grow with Your Artists: Different Gallery Models”
Discussion led by Chus Martínez.

abc is partnered with Berlin Art Week’s program of exhibitions and events across the city.
