Programming highlights:
/Dialogues
Presented in partnership with the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), /Dialogues offers panel discussions, conversations and provocative artistic discourse with leading artists, curators, designers and arts professionals on the current issues that engage them. See a full list of 2015 panels here.

IN/SITU and IN/SITU Outside
IN/SITU, curated by Executive Director of The Contemporary Austin Louis Grachos, provides a dynamic opportunity for exhibiting galleries to showcase large-scale, site-specific installations by leading international artists. The 2015 IN/SITU selection takes a significant shift in the program’s presentation, featuring primarily suspended works, activating Festival Hall through large-scale hanging installations.

In addition, IN/SITU Outside presented in partnership with the Chicago Park District and Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE), provides the opportunity for EXPO CHICAGO to present temporary public art installations along the lakefront and throughout Chicago neighborhoods. See a full list of participants here.

EXPO Projects
EXPO Projects is presented alongside IN/SITU in and around Navy Pier, featuring a curated selection of projects organized by EXPO CHICAGO. The site-specific installation program highlights large-scale and performative works by emerging and established artists represented by 2015 exhibitors. See a full list of EXPO Projects here.

EXPO VIDEO
EXPO VIDEO is a selection of dynamic and cutting-edge film, video and new media works by artists selected from exhibiting galleries at the 2015 exposition. Curated by Director of MOSTYN Alfredo Cramerotti, the works on view are presented in a variety of screening formats including four viewing stations designed by Studio Gang Architects—one of which will display the work of selected Columbia College Chicago students. New this year, two dedicated screening rooms, as well as an interactive app for mobile iOS devices will allow patrons to experience this program in a versatile way. See a full list of participants here.

Special exhibitions
More than 25 special exhibitions from select regional, national and international non-profit institutions, museums and organizations are included in the fourth annual exposition. These exhibitions illustrate and preserve the important relationship between contemporary and modern art and non-profit organizations. See a full list of special exhibitions here.

EXPO Editions + Books
Returning to EXPO this year, EXPO Editions + Books showcases a cross-section of artist books, editions, prints and more. From limited edition collectibles to zines and pocketbooks, the booths will offer a diverse array of print media and cultures that span across photography, collage, drawing, printmaking, art monographs and creative writing.
