This 2016, arteBA is celebrating its 25th anniversary and is getting ready to celebrate it together with the artistic scene and the most important institutions all the year round.
The fair, which will run from May 19 through 22 at the convention center La Rural, will include a program of public interventions and various activities in the main museums and art centers of the city of Buenos Aires.
For this important anniversary, arteBA has invited the three winners of the Young Curators Program to propose a curatorial project for the past quarter-century of Argentine art for the section Dixit. Federico Baeza, Lara Marmor and Sebastián Vidal Mackinson have designed a project that blends visual arts with different cultural productions in order to show an heterogeneous and fluently intertwined cultural landscape.
As they do every year, preeminent professionals will have the task of selecting the participants for the various sections and program of the 2016 fair.
