Barcelona Gallery Weekend is an event for art enthusiasts, collectors, professionals and artists, created with the intention of becoming the annual art meeting in Barcelona. A four-day event during which the city will be displaying all of its artistic effervescence: over 90 outstanding artists will be presented in 50 art spaces.

Programme and routes
Included in the programme are the 23 contemporary and avant-garde art galleries most representative of the city as well as the Compositions programme which deals with 5 site-specific interventions in singular venues and curated by Latitudes. The programme is structured into 5 routes which cover several districts of Barcelona:

ARCO Gallery Walks
ARCO Gallery Walks is a joint initiative of Fundación ARCO and Barcelona Gallery Weekend to offer free guided-tours to the participating galleries for the purpose of introducing the public to the work of the featured artists. Prior registration required: bgw [​at​] artbarcelona.es

Some non-profit spaces and the city’s main art institutions join the programme with their own schedule of events, special hours and initiatives adapted to the public.
