The festival is part of the broader project NESXT, the international network aimed at the non-profit art scene, including associations, artist run space and collective.

NESXT is the new interdisciplinary project that debuts in Turin in a format that expresses, indeed its name suggests, its triple identity: NET as a network in the making, NEXT as future for a critical and shared observatory and NEST as an open house to welcome all most contemporary practices in the visual arts, performing, sound and contamination between genres.

The complex kaleidoscope of experiences that make up the artistic and cultural independent italian production is the microcosm in which the NESXT project decides to take action from this first year, proposing a festival, a circuit and a network of project partnerships to meet and get to know the players in the emerging scene and the most avant-garde.
