With the support of Parmigiani Fleurier
January 1–March 4, 2018
The Prix Elysée is an international prize that supports photographic production and encourages mid-carreer photographers or artists to forge a new project, on a theme of their choice. The eight nominees, announced at the Nuit des images in Lausanne at the end of June, each receive a contribution of CHF 5,000 towards the presentation of their project in a collective book. The winner, chosen by an international jury, will receive CHF 80,000 to produce his/her project and publish a book. Thanks to the Prix Elysée, conceived with the support of Parmigiani Fleurier, the nominees and the winner benefit from the support of the Musée de l’Elysée and gain important visibility for two years. Send your project by March 4, 2018!
Why apply?
Photographers are in charge: you apply directly for the theme of your choice.
Nominees matter: they get as much time and exposure as the winner.
We mean business: in total, the prize is worth CHF120,000 (128,701.69 USD).
Your work gets published: both the nominees and the winner produce a book.
We’re a museum: we keep good work in mind for other projects.
