Application deadline: October 20, 2017, 12pm
The Association of Art Museum Curators (AAMC) Foundation Engagement Program for International Curators is accepting applications for the 2017–19 cycle. The two-year Program awards three International Curators and three US Liaisons, paired together for the first year, during which the pairs engage collaboratively and work on a topic of the International Curator’s choosing. The pairings correspond throughout the year and the Program includes a visit to the US Liaison’s host institution, and a live webinar led by the US Liaisons.
In the second year, the International Curators assume a more active role within the AAMC membership, including placement on an AAMC Committee or Task Force, participation within a high level donorship circle, and attendance to the AAMC & AAMC Foundation Annual Conference & Meeting—yet another opportunity to meet face-to-face with their respective US Liaison. The two-year Program concludes with the International Curators leading a live webinar, highlighting their experiences within the Program, accessible to the entire AAMC membership.
Made possible by the Terra Foundation for American Art, the Engagement Program for International Curators is available to curators within the American Art field, and applicants must be eligible for AAMC membership. All application materials are due by Friday, October 20, 2017 at 12pm ET.
