The Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design at the University of Michigan is proud to announce the fall 2017 Penny Stamps Speaker Series. The series brings respected innovators from a broad spectrum of fields to Southeast Michigan to conduct a public lecture for Stamps students, faculty, and the general public.
This fall, the series explores the theme “E pluribus unum,” with a total of 14 events including installation artist Christo (October 5); material artist Kiki Smith (October 19); artist and illustrator Art Spiegelman (November 9); and many more.
A full listing of fall 2017 events can be found at pennystampsevents.org. Unless otherwise noted, all programs take place on Thursdays at 5:10pm at the Michigan Theater (603 E. Liberty St.) in downtown Ann Arbor. The Penny Stamps Speaker Series is free of charge and open to the public.
