The School of Fine Art (SoFA) within GSA currently has the following vacancies;
HEAD OF PAINTING & PRINTMAKING
£33,646 – £43,850 per annum (subject to pending Job Evaluation Review)
The Head of Painting and Printmaking will work closely with the Head of School, a BA course leader and other heads of departments to provide an enthusiastic, encouraging and challenging learning experience to all students on the BA(hons) Fine Art course.
You will contribute to the ongoing overall academic, strategic and structural development of the School of Fine Art, maintain and enhance the profile of Painting and Printmaking within the SoFA’s portfolio of subjects and actively contribute to research at GSA.
PROGRAMME LEADER – MA FINE ART
Salary: £33,646 – £43,850 per annum (subject to pending Job Evaluation Review)
The programme leader will be responsible for the academic development and delivery of the MFA programme and will provide artistic and academic leadership to ensure that the programme and its curriculum remain relevant for postgraduate students.
You will play a significant role in the development of postgraduate studies in Fine Art.
Both posts require that you have a minimum of five years demonstrable experience of practice and research in Fine Art as well as a minimum of five years experience of working with students at an undergraduate (P&P) or postgraduate (MFA) level. You should also be able to demonstrate management experience in the context of Higher Art Education as well as an excellent research profile.
