Michele Oka Doner’s many public art installations include A Walk on the Beach at Miami International Airport. Her sculptures and functional objects are in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum. Rama Chorpash Design develops objects that explore contemporary social use. Donald Albrecht is the curator of architecture and design at the Museum of the City of New York.

Working in the tradition of her illustrious father, George Nakashima, Mira Nakashima takes traditional designs to a new artistic level. Completely self-taught, Ben Bajorek combines traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary outlook. Known for his reinterpretation of traditional forms and unexpected use of materials, Bajorek creates each of his unique pieces on commission. Nina Stritzler-Levine is the director of exhibitions at the Bard Graduate Center for Studies in the Decorative Arts.

The author of a multi-volume history of post-war American art, Irving Sandler has been integral to the understanding of modern and contemporary art. A co-founder of Artists Space in 1972, the author and curator of scores of books, monographs and exhibitions, and a professor, scholar and lecturer, Sandler provides unparalleled insight into the art of our times.
A respected educator, author and curator, Robert Storr is the dean of the Yale University School of Art and curator of the 2007 Venice Biennale.
