RIT seeks an academic leader with a distinguished record of accomplishment to serve as the next Dean of the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences (CIAS). CIAS includes six schools and a diverse portfolio of programs, many of which are consistently rated among the best in their fields. The College comprises 129 faculty members, over 2,300 undergraduate and graduate students, and has an operating budget of approximately 23 million USD.
This is a unique opportunity for a creative individual to spearhead the development of a unifying vision for the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences and further its distinction among the national and international imaging arts and sciences communities. As the chief academic and administrative officer, the Dean will have a key role in shaping the College’s identity, its future direction, and its central role in guiding the university to an even greater level of achievement.
