USC Roski School of Fine Arts is seeking an experienced scholar and teacher with a strong commitment to undergraduate education who will be responsible for developing the critical studies program within an undergraduate studio curriculum. The position entails developing lower and upper level undergraduate courses that are interdisciplinary and which support the study and integration of the theoretical and scholarly aspects of the visual arts in studio practice during the art or design student’s course of study. The candidate will develop an innovative vision for undergraduate critical studies in collaboration with the Roski School faculty, and build upon existing linkages within the University.
