Apply Now for Boundary Crossings: An Institute in Contemporary Animated ArtsBoundary Crossings: An Institute in Contemporary Animated ArtsPROGRAM
Application is open to practitioners working in the field, undergraduate and graduate level students. Guided by internationally renowned scholars and working practitioners, students select from two strands for a two-week course of study:
Gizmos & Gadgets
Inclusive of early optical toys and the arduino triggered sculptures of kinetic artists, Gizmos & Gadgets aims to spring the door to time-based three-dimensional experiences.
Animating Public Spaces
Our society is increasingly colonized by multiple moving image ‘screens,’ Animating Public Spaces is a catalyst for creating animated work that co-habits in architectural space.
Rolling admissions are accepted through May but enrollment is limited and early application is strongly recommended. To learn more information about the institute and download the application, visit www.pnca.edu/boundarycrossings. For podcasts and articles about Boundary Crossings, visit Untitled, PNCA’s online magazine.
