Where We Meet: Cultural Translation and Art in Social Transformation
The last years have seen the establishment of an ever-growing transnational network of African artists and curators, who proactively founded and run art spaces in their hometowns. The symposium sheds a light on the role of these initiatives with regard to their influence on social transformations as well as the challenges of cultural translation processes that the actors encounter.
