On July 4 and 5, Lectures with Li Edelkoort: an expert in trend research and founder of Trend Union, elected by Time Magazine as one of the top 25 most influential Design personalities, Li Edelkoort will be heading a workshop focused on the study of market trends and the creative process.

July 4
7pm: General Trend for Fashion Design – Fall/Winter 2013–14
Romanticism, a concept strongly explored by artists, poets, musicians, and thinkers, as an intellectual reference and the new trends that will characterize our future.

8:40pm: Well-Being Beauty – Material Nature
Concepts of well-being, lifestyle, and beauty, inspired by our planet’s natural resources and the reconnection between man and nature’s resources in an intuitive way.

July 5
7pm: Inspirations for Patterns and Motif – Fall/Winter 2013–14
The importance of patterns in fashion and decor. The central topic will be around romanticism, the importance of the contact with nature and lifestyle in the country, local economy, folk art, old fashion behavior, and authenticity.

8:40pm: Spatial Extension: new trends in architecture and design
The new directions on architectural thought and the use of spaces in the contemporaneity, and the social phenomena that guides architecture and design.
