West Hartford – The International Limited-Residency MFA in Photography at the Hartford Art School is pleased to present its first MFA thesis show.
The show features the work of 15 graduating MFA candidates: Andrew Bruah, Tim Carpenter, J Carrier, Nelson Chan, J Bennett Fitts, Leo Goddard, Susan Hayre, Tricia Hoffman, Doug Lowell, Georg Parthen, Bryan Schutmaat, Robert Seto, Charlie Simokaitis, Jennifer Timmer Trail, and Carl Wooley.
A reception with the artists and faculty will take place on Friday August10, 2012 from 7–9pm at the Joseloff Gallery at the University of Hartford. The exhibition will be open to the public from Tuesday, August 7–Sunday, August 12. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday 11–4pm, Saturday and Sunday 12–4pm.

The limited residency MFA in Photography at the Hartford Art School is an innovative program designed for both mature individuals with established experience in the field as well as recent graduates who wish to further their own practice and acquire an MFA degree in order to facilitate their professional credentials as artists and educators. It differentiates itself from existing programs in that the new program is an International limited-residency program. More info can be found at www.hartfordphotomfa.org.
